Supported devices

If you don’t have a LoRaWAN device yet
You can deploy and test the sample IoT solution without having a physical LoRaWAN device by simulating an ingestion from a LoRaWAN device. If this is your preferred option, please select decoder name “sample_device” in the next section. This will allow you to use a simulated virtual temperature and humidity sensor as a LoRaWAN device.

If you have a supported LoRaWAN device

The following table provides an overview of supported LoRaWAN devices:

Manufacturer Device Binary decoder available? Sample Grafana dashboards available? Decoder name
Axioma W1 yes no, but implementation guidelines are included axioma_w1
Dragino LHT65 yes yes dragino_lht65
Dragino LBT1 yes no, but implementation guidelines are included dragino_lbt1
Dragino LSE01 yes no, but implementation guidelines are included dragino_lse01
Dragino LGT92 yes no, but implementation guidelines are included dragino_lgt92
Dragino LDS01 yes no, but implementation guidelines are included dragino_lds01
Browan Tabs Object Locator yes no, but implementation guidelines are included tabs_objectlocator

If you have a supported device, please note the according decoder name to use it in the next step.

If you have a LoRaWAN device, but it’s not supported by this workshop
Even if your LoRaWAN device is not supported yet, you can continue with this workshop by selecting a “sample_device” in the next step. This will allow you to use a simulated virtual temperature and humidity sensor as a LoRaWAN device.

If your LoRaWAN device is not listed above, but you want to use in this workshop, you can request support for this device by submitting a new issue in our GitHub repository. Please click here and state the manufacturer and model of your LoRaWAN device. We will soon provide you a feedback on how your device can be used for this workshop.
